Opening for the Emmett Sisters at the Nook in Boulder, CO

I have been writing TONS of music lately and did my first house concert back in March - opening up for the local duo: The Emmett Sisters. What a gift that was!

For my birthday this year, I played a house concert for about 60 of my friends. In this evening, I got to share my more earthy acoustic heartfelt stories and poems set to melodic music; I played 9 of my original songs interwoven with music from 6 of my friends. I shared the stories of each song and the arc of my previous year... which was an eventful year of love, loss, transition, creation, passion and purpose!

My Birthday House Concert

About a year ago, in spending time with a dear friend, Luke Rain, we decided to collaborate on a project on a whim and "I Will Rise" is what came from that day! It was an edgy exploration of style and range for me. I am grateful for Luke's trust, guidance and support in sharing this!! This song is a stripped down ballad with a simple bass line that speaks to overcoming and my warrior spirit.

This is only the beginning of me sharing more of my musical passion.
